As part of the Usalama Barabarani Campaign, this Pasaka and the weeks leading to school reopening, we want our drivers/riders to take just five seconds and reflect before starting the engine and ask themselves, if they are fond of engaging in these risk behaviors that are likely to lead to a fatal crash.
The Fatal Six:
- Lane Indiscipline
- Drink driving
- Distracted driving
- Failure to wear a helmet
- Failure to use available pedestrian walk ways
Road users who engage in one of these behaviors are far more likely to be involved in a fatal crash than those who do not.
